There are myriad ways how one can contribute to the growth of a nation. In a diverse, vast and ever-developing country like India, it’s not hard to envision growth both on personal and professional levels. Commtel comes into picture where it is committed to growth of all its stakeholders at personal and social levels. In its own subtle ways, for the last 15 years, it has been taking steps to become the genesis of hope and positivity.
Under the flagship of Commtel Foundation we have undertaken a few steps in the last few months that indeed are progressive and encouraging. In one of the first such actions, also being our core competency, EPABX system was duly provided to meet the requirements of phone connectivity at ‘Umang’. We have time and again devised methods of contributing directly and indirectly in as many ways as we can to the children of Umang. Hence during Diwali celebration at Commtel, colorful Diyas were purchased and procured from Umang, which were painted by Umang Children.
A planned visit of a few spirited Commtelians to ‘Bal Anand’ to celebrate the joys of Christmas saw all the children making most of it. We were accompanied by Commtel’s own Santa Claus who distributed sweets and gifts among all the children. The Santa then called upon all the joyous children to join in cutting the Christmas cake, amidst the singing of the ‘Jingle Bell’ song. Snacks and fruit juice were distributed among the children with Teddy Bears being handed over to the few Special Children. Subsequently we also met their need and equipped the ‘infant section’ with a split air conditioner.
Through our constant commitment of providing monthly provisions, children of Bal Anand and the elderly people at Mercy John Memorial trust were duly taken care of. We hope and wish to continue our efforts in the directions above and thank every stakeholder who has contributed in making our efforts worthwhile and a satisfying experience. We will continue to be the agents of change with your help and support.
